Penn State Dance Marathon
The Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon is a 48-hour no-sitting, no-sleeping fundraising event that benefits The Four Diamonds Fund, Conquering Childhood Cancer. The Four Diamonds Fund provides comprehensive care and monetary support for pediatric cancer patients and their families while continuing to foster innovative pediatric cancer research initiatives. The Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon is the largest student-run philanthropy in the world. THON 2008 alone raised $6,615,318.04 for the Four Diamonds Fund, Conquering Childhood Cancer! Thank you to everyone who made this year's dance marathon such a success!
Sig Tau members annually participates in Dance Marathon in many diverse ways, from dancing to floor security to morale captains. In addition, we travel to various cities throughout Pennsylvania each year to help raise donations for the Four Diamonds fund.
